It was a very impressive feat of engineering for the time, being the first all-aluminum production vehicle. It was hailed by many as being the every-day supercar, harnessing the performance of a Ferrari and the

reliability of a Honda. Never before had a Japanese automaker released a supercar, so when the NSX came out many people changed the way they looked at Japanese automobiles. This particular NSX currently sports 135,000 miles but the mileage does not show. It is obvious this car has been kept by an enthusiast who was meticulous about maintaining their vehicles.

Inside, the leather seats are still soft and supple but not stretched or worn out in any way. All the bolstering is still in nice condition without any evidence of padding having broken down over time. Turn the key in the ignition and the 3.0 v6 fires up right away every time without hesitation. The 4 speed automatic transmission

shifts into gear great, as expected as the car has recently had the gearbox serviced. The engine has recently had lots of maintenance done, including a new timing belt installed along with a new water pump and many miscellaneous seals.

The paint and bodywork is in great overall condition. The black is still very deep with some rock chips on the front end but nothing major. The car has very few dings throughout the body which is rare for an aluminum bodied vehicle with this amount of miles. This car is still sporting its factory 5 spoke wheels in excellent condition and has no modifications save for a hidden adapter to plug in a music device for the factory radio. This is a rare opportunity to own a like-new example of Acura ’s top of the line luxury sport coupe.

The car has been meticulously maintained and preserved during its lifetime. These Legends were and still are special automobiles. The 3.2-liter engines are smooth and powerful and when mated with Acura ’s manual transmission, are a blast

to drive! The styling was unique and distinctive and the interior, luxurious and personal. In ‘93 the coupe was equipped with a more powerful “TYPE-II” engine that was rated at 230-hp vs. 200-hp on the sedan. 1993 was also the first year for the 6-speed manual.

Before that only a 5-speed manual was offered as an option. The Legend is wonderful to drive! Under acceleration the characteristic growl of the Acura V-6 is amazing. At cruise the car is smooth and quiet. Power is at the driver's will via the easy shifting 6-speed manual transmission. The driving experience in this car is quite unique. It feels like a contemporary car without being isolated from the machine and the road.

It definitely doesn't feel like a 28 year old machine. The painted finish on this car is in beautiful condition and 100% original. The color is (LS exclusive) Sirius White Pearl.

Inside, the ivory leather seats are like new! The prior owner kept sheepskin covers on the front seats so wear is virtually nonexistent. Leather is regularly treated to keep it soft and supple. Even the carpeted floor mats are in great condition as rubber mats protect them from dirt and wear. The wood on the console and doors is in great shape with no fading or cracking. The dash is also in like-new shape and there are no cracks on the center vents. Power windows and locks operate normally except the auto-down

feature on the driver ’s window. The climate control, AC and heater all function normally.

The Acura/Bose sound system sounds great and the optional CD changer in the trunk also plays 6 discs. The engine compartment is clean and unmodified as you can see from the photos. The hood struts could use replacement. This Legend is quite possibly the best, most original, unmodified, low-mileage example you will find. A true no excuses, nearly perfect, garage queen NSX that has honestly seen rain ONE TIME in its 26 years (No BS), I washed her IMMEDIATELY after!

This car doesn't turn heads, it spins them. I've owned her for 19 years (since 6,000 miles), have all records since then (except for the timing belt/water pump roughly 20K and 10 years ago). Just turned

over 49K miles, but this car is always driven regularly, normally twice a month about 50 miles each time. It has ALWAYS had mobil-1 Synthetic (including prior owner). Not a snap ring range car (tranny tag #J4A4-1001989). She is amazing looking and I have all original parts (for what non-stock parts are on the car), including spare in front plus tools / pump in trunk.

I also have the entire full set of Acura Service manuals for the car. Non Stock Parts: Finstar (Dali-Racing) catback exhaust (sounds amazing), Dali-Racing Billet coolant recovery tank, KN filter system, Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, 2001 NSX rims - chromed, stoptech 2-piece front slotted rotors, stoptech rear slotted rotors.

Maintenance and other work performed: Timing belt and water Pump replacement (but a while ago), A/C R134 conversion and evaparator replaced, both window regulators, CV boots, Bose Amp rebuilds, HVAC control unit rebuild, as with all these cars the Stereo eventually self destructs (the capacitors leak acid inside and ruin it), you cannot replace it but Williams Electronics has a great Clarion stereo conversion they install INSIDE the original case (so it looks bone stock), you now have bluetooth connection and a better head unit, this cost me $750 and was just done a few months ago, ALL FLUIDS were just replaced and the car fully serviced a couple hundred miles ago, he also performed a "

buyer's inspection" essentially, I can provide that.

Same mechanic has serviced the car since 2007 he knows the car and it's care well and invited interested parties to contact him for his opinion. Clean Carfax (I can send you). ABS is not functioning (this is common and does not affect brake functioning in the least). Front tires are about 50%, rears at wear bars (just). Note: when I say I have " all" stock parts I mean EVERYTHING: rims, lug nuts, airbox, coolant recovery tank, springs, shocks, exhaust. So if you are one of those who wants a " bone stock" car, this car can be that in one day's time. Nothing has been modified that can't be undone with simple re-install of the stock part.

For those of you who truly KNOW NSX's you understand that while a great car, they have issues that affect all of them eventually, with the exception of the ABS (which fails on all the early cars at some point), I'd like to think that I've already encountered and repaired all of these " expected" issues. Consequently, you should consider this car to be very well " sorted" out for you. Also don't lose sight of the fact that this car has been driven on average twice a month at a minimum it's entire life.it's never been moth-balled away for long periods of time which is a BAD thing for seals, gaskets, etc.

Also included: the Original NSX Design book that was given to each new owner with the car, it's the metal faced book in the image.very nice, has information about the design, specs, etc, great photography. Also included is an original Honda NSX brochure (it's written in japanese, except for the cover: " our dreams come true" ), plus the original official NSX Accessories brochure. Included in this image I have ALL the keys for the car, including the valet key. Another image shows you the 3 volume maintenance manuals, plus ALL the receipts for the car.remember I have owned it since 6,000 miles so it covers everything since then.

Of course I have the original leather bound owners manual that fits in the glove box. I've also included two images in the trunk, one showing the complete roadside maintenance kit. the other the carpet pad for the trunk. ALL carpet mats (floor and trunk), are ORIGINAL and in excellent condition, affirming the kind of care the car's had from day one. I've added a front bonnet image, shows the original space saver tire. Lastly, I added an image of the dash with the radio illuminated, as you can see the radio unit looks stock, it's just the guts that are different.

NOTE also in some of the images you see a non-stock shifter knob, I've reinstalled the stock one (see the stereo image).

This is a very nice example of a low mileage 1991 Acura NSX.

Powered by a 3.0L V6 DOHC 24V engine mated to the very desirable 5-speed manual transmission. The NSX was the first production car to use an all-aluminum semi-monocoque unit body reducing the curb weight to just 3010 pounds to improve performance and deliver its superb handling. With

Honda reliability and Ferrari like styling the NSX was an instant hit and a modern classic. Mechanically all stock with all emissions equipment present. With less than 50K original miles this NSX runs and drives excellent. Finished in Formula Red over a black leather interior this NSX shows very well and is extremely attractive.

The original black leather interior is in great condition.

Used 1991 Acura NSX 48,161 miles

Tucked behind the birdpit is Honda ’s 3.0L V-6 engine with 24 valves, double overhead camshafts, variable valve timing and electronic lift control (VTEC) and programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI).

This engine, which breathes via dual exhausts, is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Driver convenience features include automatic climate

control, cruise control, power and vented four-wheel disc brakes, power locks, power windows, power seats, power mirrors, tilt-telescope steering column and rear window defroster. Safety features include driver ’s airbag, anti-lock brakes and traction control.

Inside, the car ’s black interior (code E), is in overall excellent condition. The bucket seats are in overall great shape though the driver ’s one obviously shows evidence more wear. The black carpet is in similar condition. The matching headliner is in excellent shape, as is the three-spoke steering wheel, inner door panels, instrument panel, center console and shifter. Rounding out the interior is a JVC AM/FM stereo

with a CD player. The NSX was the first production car to feature an all-aluminum semi-monocoque unit body, incorporating a revolutionary extruded aluminum alloy frame and suspension components.

The use of aluminum saved nearly 440 pounds over the steel equivalent in the body alone, while the aluminum suspension arms saved an additional 44 pounds (much of it unsprung weight); a suspension compliance pivot helped maintain wheel alignment changes at a near zero value throughout the suspension cycle. Other notable features included an independent, four-channel anti-lock brake system; an electric power steering system; and Honda's proprietary VTEC variable valve timing system.

The NSX is truly a joy to drive and hasn't required much upkeep; however, there are a few post-trip maintenance or service items I am disclosing for prospective buyers: -new battery, performance tires, and Mobil 1 synthetic oil change all done prior to trip-diagnostic done for 'check engine' light in KC; cleared for trip and tune-up suggested-limited

file, but drive belts replaced at approx.

35k miles in 2004 and clear bra in 2009-A/C blows great, but variable speed for auto-temp is sporadic -- told it needs a resistor-stock Acura Bose radio has static with the volume control, which may be antenna related Cosmetically.-as a former appraiser, I am particular about obvious scratches and dings -- none of which exist-the clear bra was installed prior to 2010; hood area should be redone with better-current film-the original gunmetal wheels are highly sought after, but should be reconditioned at some point-interior also in nice shape with the exception of wear along the driver side left access area.

While not a show car, it shows

extremely well and draws a ton of attention on the road. Paint has normal wear and minor, very minor, blemishes only -- no damage or significant repairs whatsoever.

It simply could use a good detailing and proper protection for many years of driving pleasure to come (car cover included).
