Roadster specific rear view fender mounted mirror" Gentleman's Gutter" on driver side floorpan (allowed water to run out rather than onto your shoes)The 1966 Roadster was unique, an all purpose vehicle without a top or doors. 170 Cubic Inch 105 hp six cylinder, three speed (three on the tree) column shifter and a Dana 20 transfer case standard.
Only the earliest models came with a " ball style" transfer case shifter as the one you are viewing has. Fiberglass inserts in lieu of doors were standard and a vinyl top and doors were options. The bench seat has been recovered in sourced original NOS vinyl. Professional frame off restoration with body painted off the frame and original pink primer on the original underneath of original solid floor pans.

This Thunderbird is rust free coming out from California.
It is an older restoration that still looks very presentable. The white paint is good with only a few minor chips. Mechanically the car runs great and was also just serviced. The engine compartment is still original and could use some detailing. The black and white interior is in very
good shape. All chrome and trim look good. The tach works as do the power seat, headlamps, tail lights, and wipers. The turn signals, radio and horn do not work. The hardtop looks good but needs a new headliner and weather strips. Overall this rust free Thunderbird runs great and would be a great car to take to your local cruise in or car show.
It is a car you can enjoy while giving it some TLC to take it to the next level.

This car is just a pleasure to drive, its really peppy and runs like new, having power steering and power brakes makes it such a comfortable drive. The undercarriage is solid and clean, no rust anywhere on this car. This pony has an automatic C-4 transmission in great working order with no issues and shifts smoothly through all gears. New. The guy i purchased it from was in South Florida. The truck runs! The previous owner installed an automatic transmission instead of the 3-speed on the column it originally came with. I believe this is 170cc motor.
