And being that its from California since new and very well taken care of over the years car looks amazing for its age.
This also means its rust free and accident free. Now for the body and paint The body on this car is in great shape being that its accident free also due to the fact that its a original California car it has zero rust. on the body and floor pans. As for the paint its also in great shape. having just a knick or two. being that this car was enjoyed just like the next owner will
so minor can not see in pictures. Does have minor bruise on back bumper. Interior The interior is in great shape for its age and being its all original driver seat does have some wear but the rest of the interior is excellent.
Showing no major rips or tears no cracks in dash or door panels carpet is stain and odor free. Car has never been smoked in. Miscellaneous This porsche comes with tons of service records. Have all the owners manuals even the warranty and service manual. every thing in the interior works. except for AC. Does not turn on. Also the number 2 which I don't have that should be next to Carrera was professionally removed.
being that I liked the way it looked without it. Also car comes with Original spare tire, Jack, tool kit, and Air Compressor. other minor faults to the vehicle are passenger side head light lense , and fog lamp lense our cracked. when taking it out on one summer night. and third break light was very worn and cracked so took it off but never had it replaced. which I also do not have. and is all pictured below also this Porsche is sitting on brand new Yokohama Tires all around fitted on to OEM Chrome Boxster S wheels. Also carries its original key set.

The " Ill Be Buried In" Story, Whoever Knocked On His Door Thru The Years. That all changed recently. Spent its entire life in Southern California, with its original Blue plates. Making this a Original
California 356C Cabriolet. It has always been mostly stored in the garage well taken care of. Being cherished by the owner for many years, it had become more then just a car to him. The Porsche remains in beautiful shape for its age still turns heads whenever driven.
Had a light restoration done in the early 90's, was repainted in Ivory White. All the trim work chrome still shines well, excellent shape. The convertible top, seat upholstery carpet was recently replaced with German classic material that is correct. The Porsche is in running driving condition. What makes this Porsche such more valuable is that it still running on the original 1600c engine, Zenith carburetors, numbers matching
drivetrain. The original 4 speed manual transmission shifts into all gears just fine. All the original Disc brakes are in great condition, drives stops straight.
The engine doesn't smoke, runs smoothly. I recently had both the original Zenith carburetors professionally rebuilt tuned by Nardi Motors in Los Angeles, a Porsche specialist. In 1984, the engine had a complete overhaul rebuilt. Was still is a dependable driver. I still have the service records from over the years.

This is a structurally excellent matching numbers 912 Coupe that was sold new in March of 1969 to its first and only owner, who fastidiously kept the car for 44 years.
The car is an original Ossi Blue example, which had the engine rebuilt in 1982, as well as a repaint at the same time. The car has been recently serviced and freshened. The car
is in nice shape cosmetically. The paintwork has a few areas of minor cracks but is presentable and attractive overall, and appears to have been redone much more recently than 1982. The chrome and trim are very good and the car is equipped with Cibie headlamps.
The panels are generally straight with very good gaps. The doors have some waviness. From a structural standpoint, the car has an exceptional undercarriage, with excellent original floors, battery boxes, and front suspension pan. The body has minimal rust, with a small spot on the underside of the engine lid, an area by the front bumper support (inside the trunk by the washer fluid tank), on the underside of the right door, and
in the cowl adjacent to the fresh air intake on the left side only. The interior is predominantly original and excellent considering this. The bottom of the driver ’s seat was carefully retrimmed and is consistent in appearance with the passenger ’s seat.
The dashboard has been fitted with a cover. The door panels are original and very nice, as is the headliner. The car has exceptionally nice door pockets. The carpets are original and show some staining on the driver ’s mat but are otherwise quite nice. The switches and controls are original and very nice as well, and the entire interior has a wonderfully correct and intact feel beyond the addition of a cassette player. The engine
and trunk are similarly original and unmolested in appearance. For example, even the factory band clamp on the fuel line to the carburetors is still in place, a rarely seen feature that speaks to the truly unmolested character of the car.
The car retains its factory Knecht air cleaners and split shaft Solex carburetors. The spare is the correctly date coded November of 1968. This is one of just over 400 special edition cars especially made for the North American market in the 1980 model year. It features unique " Pongee Beige Metallic" paint - their description, not mine - " Doric Gray" leather with Red piping and carpets, a factory Turbo whale tail and
chin spoiler, color matched Fuchs alloy wheels, and factory sunroof - all part of the Weissach Edition package. It has traveled only 66,309 careful miles. It appears to be mostly original paint and there is no evidence of accident damage or corrosion. There is some paint checking on the trunk lid and a few other places, but overall the impression is of a well cared for, clean car.
The interior is lovely, unique, and shows virtually no wear. It runs and drives beautifully with good power, no smoke or untoward noises from the drivetrain, good synchros, and tight suspension. The A/C blows ice cold, and everything works as it should. There is a period aftermarket stereo equalizer in the hole where the ashtray should be, but there doesn't seem to be any modification to the dash and an ashtray is included.
