Stunning paint, solid 8.75, some road rash on mirrors but front is very clean, the rest of the car speaks for itself in the pictures. with either Lindsey or Vitesse components, just like this one. The pistons were measured, 5mm from the bottom of the skirt and we used.015" or.381mm clearance; as we have with all the engines we've built.
While this is larger than the orginial factory clearance of.20mm or.007" the Mahle slipper skirt pistons, with Iron Ferroprint coating, have a bit more expansion than the factory Mahle Pistons with Iron Ferrostan coating. Ferrostan is now illegal to manufacture. The.015" was recommended by Mahle direct.
