1970 Pontiac Bonneville 455 convertible This is a rare one!
1970 was the only year Pontiac offered the high power/high compression 455 V8 engine with 370 horsepower. Last of the big muscle cars as 1971 brought in the era of low compression, low horsepower cars. Power top, automatic, power brakes, AC (we removed the belt since we don ât use
the AC, but it does work), near perfect interior, great paint (almost perfect), great chrome, Custom 21â Dayton spoke wheels with low profile tires, rear wheel skirts (not shown in photos, car looks better without them), professionally installed custom stereo system with multiple amps and base speakers in trunk and full speakers in front kick panels, temp/oil/amp gauges under dash set in a 1964 Pontiac gauge bezel.
This car has one 1st place at every car show it has been to. Smooth ride, purrs like a tiger, and very fast when you get on the gas. Odometer says 04117 and probably has turned over, but the car runs and drives like the odometer mileage reads. Turns heads everywhere we drive
it, always get told ânever seen one like this! â, and you WILL NOT pass one just like it when you are out driving like you would with other classic cars.
We have owned this car for 2 years and love it, but it is time to move on to some of our other classics we are finishing.
